Making fun of our own misery might sound sadistic. Yet, we think is a lot better than spend the rest of our days whining about it. We all love to laugh out loud, and being born (and living) in a 3rd world country makes no exception.
That’s why we started the site LOL 3rd World, which exposes why poor countries are the richest source of FAIL in the world (and we thought that sharing this with the rest of the world was a good idea, since there was no site dedicated to this particular subject yet).
According to Wikipedia, failure refers to the state or condition of not meeting a desirable or intended objective, and may be viewed as the opposite of success. If you think about it, places full of poor (and in lots of cases) illeterate people, are per se a clear example of failure. We are surrounded by this reality (and of course, we are as well part of it), which ain’t precisely great, so why not try and have a nice time with it (since it seems that this will never change!).
lolthirdworld.com is like our personal vendetta against the unfair reality we have to face everyday, obviously in the most peaceful way possible, which is humor. We are going through tough times, with a big smile on our faces.
So relax, have a blast and LOL with no guilt or whatsoever!
